Kalevala is published - precise statements

After a long wait, Kalevala has been at last published. The ambitious project, organized by the editors of finnish magazine Colussus, consists in a triple CD edited by french label Musea.
It's a colossal work, almost four hours of rock progressive realized by 30 bands coming from 8 different countries. The finnish epic poem Kalevala has been divided in 30 parts and each band has set one part to music. The only bounds fixed were the lenght of song and no using drum machine. Three records are contained in a beautiful jewel case with a very rich booklet, written in english, there are many drawings and, for each track, information about Kalevala's part, the band and lyrics, always translated in english.
Honour to the team of Colossus, represented by Marco Bernard and Raimo Esausto who realized this project; lovers of progressive music should know and have it.
